FOR GIVE NESS (Part 2) and Trust

June 22, 2016Words Of EncouragementForgiveness, GOD, healing. broken hearts, trust Standard

In my previous blog I shared some truths that had set my soul/heart free . Jesus said that we must forgive if our Heavenly Father can forgive us. Meaning that we tie HIS hands from healing our wounded hearts/souls as long as we choose to hang on to the hurt and offenses. Whenever we  get to the point where we really want to be set free,  we cry out for help from Father GOD, then HE  helps us in the manner we need. He is awesome like that!
As we choose to forgive we   invite HOLY SPIRIT to bring forth revelation of our FATHERS great big love for us, which has been  shed abroad in our hearts by HOLY SPIRIT. When we have a revelation of HIS ginormous LOVE for us, we are undone, in a sense of awe, why did not I  forgive sooner? We are able to  hear HIS voice so clearly when we our soul/heart is healed.
One way we can receive healing for our soul/heart is to  ask GOD for dreams and visions that leads us to revelations of HIS wisdom, knowledge, wisdom. HE desires  to have our souls prosper.  (Our minds, will and emotions).  I dream every night  some are not good but many are dreams are from FATHER GOD, given to  me for understanding, about myself and the situations I am in;  HE so desires to give me HIS understanding, wisdom and knowledge. HE LOVES HIS CHILDREN! I just cannot repeat this enough. When we receive a dream write it down, act upon it, or ask GOD for more understanding. Sometimes there are layers needing to be peeled off our souls. In later blogs I plan to share other ways to receive our healing.

We have forgiven, the next question is do we immediately trust? Trust is defined in the dictionary as a firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something. Relations have to be built on trust.  Proverbs says we are to trust in The Lord with all of our hearts . Synonyms of the word trust are,  confidence, belief, faith, certainty, assurance, conviction, credence, and reliance. Good relationships are built on trust. The word rely comes to the front of my mind. Rely defined,  means to depend on with full trust or confidence, be dependent upon. When  we are hurt, betrayed or maligned,  it takes time to build a foundation of trust. Its OK to not trust, but we must extend mercy and forgiveness. Jesus gave us total and complete forgiveness and  mercy at the Cross. When we receive HIS forgiveness HE then gives us HIS righteousness. Personally I need mercy every single day!

In conclusion: We have chosen to forgive-and  we begin to rebuild a renewed relationship. It’s okay to lack trust,  we should  wait until we see the fruit of sincere repentance. Just because we forgave the offense, does not mean that we wholeheartedly trust again! This truth will set us  free. Trust takes time, and as we trust in GOD with all our soul/heart , we begin the baby steps and  trust in the person who we have forgiven.

Prayer: Father GOD, thank you for sending your only begotten Son JESUS to forgive us all our sin, and give us a total right standing with YOU!  Thank you for being the healer of broken hearts, and setting all captives free from the deception of the enemy of our souls. Thank you for revelation and unfolding them before us, always! We love you and receive your love for us! In JESUS NAME!

Amen!
