Brent, Mary, and their son, Stephen, are all licensed Funeral Directors. Stephen lives in Durant with his wife, Sarah Abigail, and is currently serving as the Pastoral support for the Shain Family Funeral Home locations. He is involved at Victory Life of Durant and has three children: Boaz, Havah, and Nathan.

Brent and Mary's oldest daughter, Sarah, lives in Denison, TX, with her husband Matthew, and works full-time as the Headmaster of Victory Life Academy in Durant, OK, while finishing her Doctorate in Education from Texas A & M Commerce. Sarah also works with Shain Family Funeral Service as a social media/marketing developer. Sarah and Matthew have three sons: Atticus, Caius, and Leopold.

Their second daughter, Rebekah, is a licensed Cosmetologist and married Brent Odell. She is currently working for Shain Family Funeral Service as a data archive specialist. Rebekah and Brent have four children.

Their youngest daughter, Anna, is a stay at home mother and married Zachary Everett of Durant, OK. Zach is the Comptroller for Shain Family, and continues sales with AFLAC. Anna and Zach have two sons: Asa and Benjamin.
